Topic-"Living in the Now Without the Burden of the Past"
How Can we really live in the present and deal with life without the background of the past?
Everything we see, hear, feel, and understand seems to come from memory. Every experience has a background. So how can we live without the interference of the past?
Perhaps it is possible.
Imagine that I fail an exam. My friends, relatives, and people around me know about it. Some of them use this fact to hurt me. They laugh, mock, and remind me of my failure.
Sometimes I avoid them.
Sometimes I resist them.
Sometimes I argue with them.
Sometimes I try to ignore them.
But they know where my wound is, and they keep touching it. This creates a pattern of action and reaction in my mind.
So what should I do?
First, I must watch.
Is there someone inside me who feels hurt because of that failure?
If the answer is yes, then stay with that feeling. Look at it. Listen to it. Be with that suffering without escaping from it.
If the answer is no, then let people say whatever they want to say.
Their words can only hurt the wound that already exists within me.
There is no need to run away from people, and there is no need to fight them.
watch It
- How do their words hurt me?
- How do they create suffering?

The wound is a memory.
Allow the feelings of failure, helplessness, hurt, and annoyance to arise. Let them stay for a while and then pass away naturally.
Continue with your daily work.
Let the memories come and go.
Let the feelings come and go.
Let the imagination of revenge come and go.
Let the desire to hurt others back come and go.
Do not suppress them.
Do not follow them.
Simply watch.
Face your suffering directly and alone.
When you stop running away from it, understanding begins.
Then the mind slowly learns to remain in the present and deal intelligently with whatever life brings.
You do not need complicated methods.
You only need a healthy body, a quiet mind, and the willingness to observe.
When it hurts, do not escape.
Do not spend your energy blaming others for hurting you.
Instead, stay with your own suffering.
Watch it.
Listen to it.
Understand it.
And from that understanding, a compassionate heart begins to grow.
A clear and intelligent mind emerges.
